I'm the mother of TWO boys!!!!!!!!
I did it......
Went out to Petsmart today and a shelter brought their kittens there as Saturdays are "adoption" day.......
I got me a 7 week old male (neutered already!!) siamese kitten.....he has white paws and is as adorable as can be!! Almost looks like a "ragdoll" kitten.
Max, the male I have already is NOT hissing, is more inquisitive than anything....is not taking swipes at the baby.......he is sniffing and following the kitten around. He is calling out to him and has never once hissed...I think this may be a wonderful relationship between them!!!
I am not certain this kitten is box trained as it comes from a feral mother......there were 4 and those were black and white......yes, obviously she got with a few different males in her hey day!! She is spayed now.
I put the kitten in the box and used his paws to scratch in the sand.....that's all I know how to do to get him to use it.......Miss Kitty??? Am I doing the right thing????
The kitten was just neutered just yesterday 10/15/04 and he was given his shots (Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Callicvirus, Lekemia Virus--no rabies shot however)
He has tested negative for FIV and FELV.......
I gotta work tonight at 10pm, so I am going to go to bed right now, but will take some pics and post them later.......
Saved another life and he was only $85 like Max was........
Just wanted to brag about my 2 siamese boys!!!!!!!!
PS...edited to add: I need an "M" male name (I always name my cats HUMAN names)....the shelter named him "Monty".......and I don't care for it too much. I changed my older cat's name to "Max" from "Starbuck"........actually it does not have to be an "M" name....
Suggestions?????????? Please post here...........

Feed the new guy and a few minutes later put him in the box...he'll get the idea. Then repeat at each meal. He'll be box trained in no time if he isn't already.
Congrats and Cheers!

All's well at the house and Max, the older cat has accepted the kitten, like I said is more inquisitive.
He licks the kitten and tries to tackle it and play fight with it, he is not real old himself and still has many kitten antics in him........
I did get some pics of the kitten real quick tonight and will post them tomorrow after I get home from work....and after I compress them for here.....
I put the kitten in the bathroom with his food, toys, box and bed while I am gone here to work just because Max is soooooooooo much bigger than the little guy and I think he may get too rough with some of his tackling and he needs to be supervised........
When I left for work at 9:30pm I could see no evidence that the kitten had used the box yet.......;P ;P

Metallic..........
That looks alot like my kitten.....except mine is all siamese markings on the face, ears and tail but each of the paws is white......
I am kind of leaning toward the name "Merlot" (Mer-Low)....as in the red wine......
I like Milo too....
I like a few of those name C-Mama.....thanks for putting them on here!!!
I get to give Max his weekly "ring worm" maintainence bath when I get home and I need to bathe the kitten in cat shampoo because he just is not the cleanest thing....his mom BTW is a feral cat.......

Yep, that is all I have ever done. Well, with Miss Kitty the first time I also wiped her with a warm, damp paper towel while rubbing her paws. That was mainly because she had never saw anybody bury anything in the dirt so I thought it might be a good idea. If he hasn't went in when you get back home, it would be worth a try.
I have already decided my next kitty will be named Mauser ;f
You said he has white paws. How much, if any black, does he have? Oreo is a good name for a B&W Although I named my B&W Fred. Just had to have a Fred ;g
CONGRATS Peachie!!!
