Giving Back To Glock-Talk
To My Fellow Band Of Glockers,
Eric and the rest of the moderators have been very generous by giving us our own special place or forum at Glock-Talk. As you all know, setting-up and maintaining to keep Glock Talk is not an inexpensive endeavor.As you all know also,they didn't have to do this but still,they did.
Anyway,if I am not asking too much, could we all make a donation of($10.00 Each Member) to Glock-Talk to show our gratitude and appreciation to Eric and the rest of the moderators(EddieC,Patricia,DannyR,ETC.),who all have been very nice and kind to us.

Suggestion: I dont think everyone has the means to donate money online. Especially in US Dollars. How about setting up an alternative to those who can't but willing to give.
Pls give suggestions?
1. Let us collect the peso equivalent of $10.00 from those who cant pay online. Convert it to USD and remit the money to Eric
2. Pay the peso proceeds to a BOG member who is willing to use his credit card for the donation.

Wonderful idea. I'm in also.
Darwin has a point. Maybe we could set up a non shoot meet and let this be one of the meeting's agenda.
10 USD isn't much considering the amount of information and the friendships we have formed through this forum.
Let's support this site.

someone also suggested we do this on an annual basis.
darwin has a good point, i also had this problem before because i just got my VERY FIRST credit card 2 months ago. so prior to this, i was unable to donate to GT (as agreed in our meeting last year).

Another alternative is,we can wait until Jerry Trini gets here.When we have that get together party with him,those of us who can't get through online can give him the donation and he shall take care of sending it to Glock-Talk.That's only if Jerry Trini shall do us the favor.If not,we can have a non-shoot meeting and I'll take of the ones who can't get through online.I'll just use my credit card.Just pay me in advance.

I don't see any GlockTalk Contributor icon under my name and also to the ones who have already made their donations.Someone said that I must be having a firewall.What does this(Firewall)mean and how do I remedy this?
