I thought for sure I had failed it..seemed alot harder than the online practice test, and there were a couple questions I haven't seen before. I only missed 5 though. (you can miss 9) ;f ;f ;f ;f ;f ;f ;f ;f ;f

Now to start really hitting the CW hard and work on General;f

Congratulations

I'm so pleased to hear of your success in passing your Tech exam. Now your future is certain with so many options in ham radio.

I took my novice test in 1959 and it required 5wpm send/receive even for the lowest license plus it expired after one year and was not renewable. They were intent on upgrading new hams. I upgraded to my Tech, also requring 5wpm and General with 13wpm code. I upgraded to Extra 18 months ago because the best HF DX seemed to be just below my allocated band limits and I had to have that DX.

The handhelds are amazing these days and you have so many choices for VHF/UHF gear.

I'm now operating HF/VHF daily with a Kenwood TS-2000 in my truck. Ham radio is a part of my personality after all these years.

This is a hobby that will last your lifetime. ENJOY !!!

Way to go, Brian.

Get the ARRL study guides, and upgrade right away. You'll be glad you did.
