Oh I'm so sad. Please send my condolences to his family. I was so encouraged when he returned to GT. He was a class act. I'll miss him and think of him fondly.

Thank you, Friend of Woof for letting us know. He meant a lot to this board and he'll be sorely missed. RIP, Woof. ;? ;w ;? ;w

I'm stunned. I always enjoyed his posts. I never saw a negative word in them. I think of him every time I pass a Coldwell Banker sign.

Rest in peace, Woof. We're gonna miss you..

I'm utterly shocked!!! It wasn't that long ago that he posted about his recent trips.

WOOF, WOOF. Rest In Peace.

Ah jeez, why do the good ones always seem to go?
God always takes the good ones. He wanted this one so badly, he took him sooner than everyone wanted him to.

Now being a newbie, I didn't get to know Woof. But from reading your comments here, I'm pretty confident that my comment above is very true. He's in a better place and smiling down on you all as we speak. May your memories of him comfort you all.

My little heart is just aching for his family. He was such a positive kind person here on GT. I'm so sad.

Oh dear Lord, I'm so shocked and sad. Ed was my friend. Several years ago, we used to correspond on a regular basis. He sent me the most lovely photos. Then I didn't hear from him for a very long time and was so worried. I was overjoyed when he called me about 6 weeks ago. He seemed to be doing well, and told me how his loving companion Woof had become his guide dog. We even talked about the possibility of him traveling through this way next year, and how great it would be to meet face to face for the first time.

Friend of Woof, please pass on to his family that he will be greatly missed, and always fondly remembered.

Sad to say, our fragile lives are too short. Live every day to it's fullest.

I had a thought. If anyone would like to send a card to Ed's family, I have his address and would be happy to accept them at my address, then send a packet on to his family. PM me if you are interested.
