I've never hunted caribou in Canada, but I did live in Alaska for 2 years and hunted up there. I would recommend that you set up the hunt through a licensed guide. Most of them will handle everything from hunting license to packing the meat for shipment. They will also take care of the permits required for shipping the meat and trophy back into the US. Believe me ,that's a big concern. If the permits aren't correct, it won't be allowed into the US. Check with companies like Cabelas. It might cost a little more, but it's worth it in the long run.
