1973 Honda 750
I purchased a new Honda 750 in 1973. This bike has always been kept inside. It has 9k miles on it.
The bike is in great shape, except that it has not been started in the past 10 years.
How much is it worth??
Thanks in advance for your help,
Joey

Kelly Blue Book only lists Moto Guzzi for some reason when you go back to 1973. If it hasn't run in 10 years it's likely that the motor has froze up, gas tank is full of rust, lines are clogged, etc.
I wouldn't expect to get too much for it.

Be honest with you, I ( and few guys I know) wouldn't be willing to pay much for it. I'd expect to get about $50 -250 for it because of all the work it would take to get the bike running again. The carbs will be shot, it's a 50/50 chance on the motor being froze and honestly, not much of a market for it unless you sell it to guys who like to build jap chopper bikes (such as myself). That said, if you still want to unload it for the price listed above, I'd be willing to take a look at it depending on where in TN you are. (I'm not trying to low ball you here, honestly, that's about the going rate for a cb750 that has sat for that long)

Around Portland Or a decent one goes for $750-1000 range. If its been stored in side with oil in it i doubt it is seized.

There's a 1975 CB750 on ebay going for almost $3K with a lot more miles than yours. I wonder how much you would have to put into it to get it into running condition? If it's not more than about $500 you might be able to recoup that and more.

Hell, the body parts would be worth more than that alone.

Do you want to make it run, or do you want to part it out?
Regards,
Glen
