Gun Digest Book of the Glock

Amazon has this book for 18.00. Is it worth
the price? Any worthwhile information in it?
I would like to have a breakdown illustration
of all the parts as they are shown in the old
Digest books by J. B. Wood. Does this book
contain such a list?

I have the book you are lokking at, "The Gun Digest Book of the Glock". Written by Patrick Sweeny, came out in 2003.

The book gives a good account of the thinking behind the design of the Glock, compares it to other guns of that type, i.e. Beretta, S&W.
Lots of useful info about using Glocks in sport and defence. Also has a lot of info on various calibers I didn't even know of and gives info about each model up to the G36. The book also has sections about holsters and other accessories and aftermarket parts.

Overall, I think it's a great book and a very good reference guide for any Glock fan. I don't think it contains any parts diagrams though.

I paid $28 for the book, so $18 is a steal for 301 pages of polymer fun!

Glock On!
