Now that's a type of squat I've never seen before!

So I'm at the gym yesterday and doing my own squats when this girl comes up next to me and gets one of those half stability balls(usually I see people doing push-ups on them), like the regular huge ball things, but cut in half and flat on one side.

She puts it on the ground with the flat side up, then grabs a barbell and gets on top and does squats while standing on it!

I've never seen anything like that before. I was pretty impressed I must say. She was pretty shaky, to the point that I waited to do my squats because I didn't want her to crash into me. But she held it together. I can imagine standing on one of those, but NOT doing squats at the same time.

Not that I'll be trying those anytime soon!

Yeah, you should've seen this chick shaking. She looked like one of those new born colts that has wobbly legs and then crashes to the ground. I thought for sure she was going to loose it, but she never did.

I once knew a PT at a gym who could jump on top of a full sized ball and ballance on it. This guy must have had the strongest core in the world to ballance on an exercise ball.

That is impressive! Perhaps he used to work in the circus!

Or should work in the circus.

A squat like that would be super good for you. I wanna try it sometime. Deadlifts too! Oh, even military presses.

Sounds like a heck of a way to improve one's core and stability.
