help me round out my dream band.
guitar/vocals- james hetfield

bass- ?????
drums- ???? lars? maybe??

Gene Simmons is not that great of a bass player, he makes Mike Anthony of Van Halen seem great. As far as bass players go, Cliff Burton would be you dream bass player(RIP), Les Claypool, Billy Sheehan, Roger Glover would be good choices for bass players. Bill Ward always sounded good to me as a drummer, and Matt Cameron, Matt Chamberlain, Matt Sorum, Chad Sexton all are fine drummers but Vinnie Paul is the guy you would want probably. It sounds like to me you want the 1983 Metallica back!
