Favorite Biography

Biographies are my favorite type of book to read. "When Pride Still Mattered" about Vince Lombardi has to be one of the best books I ever read. If you are a football fan you must read this book.

Second would be a biography about Walt Disney.

For those of you who read biographies, which were your favorites?

Sherman

I am a biography lover as well. I love the history of the Civil War.

Best bio: "Sherman: A soldier's passion for order."

Not a real big reader of biographies, but I read A.J. Foyt's bio years ago, LMAO, it's hilarious.

"Cold Zero" By Chris Whitcomb has made it here in the UK and it's fantastic. Covers Ruby Ridge, Wacco etc. I must for any LEO.

I have read loads of books re Delta, SAS(not BravoTwoZero - its ****), SBS etc, but the best British police biography has to be by Steve Collins called "The good guys wear black." He was in the British equivilant of the countrys top SWAT unit.

Another good one is "Trojan Files" by Roger Gray. It explains famous shooting events in the UK, and how much BS British LEOs face, regarding being deployed with firearms.

Both are available at Amazon.
