Question about address bar...help

Hi. Here's the problem. When you type in the address bar, a bunch of other addies show up in a "bubble" right below while I'm typing in. I think there is a way to delete those or stop them from appearing. Can someone tell me how? Stats: IBM Thinkpad A21m, Windows Millenium. I know it's a dumb little thing, but it's always the little stuff that bugs us the most. Thanks, Robert;a

If you use Internet Explorer...

Click TOOLS in the Menu Bar...

Click INTERNET OPTIONS from the Menu that drops down...

Click CLEAR HISTORY...tell it YES...when the "hourglass" disappears, click OK...

The dropdown list under the Address Bar is now empty.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Internet Options and press the "clear history" button. That should do it for you.
