Venison Chili

I think I have finally perfected my Venison Chilli recipe. Try it for yourself and tell me how you like it. It does use McCormick chili mix, so it's not all from scratch, but it is really good.

Ingredients:
4 Large Jalepeno's (3 for Chili, 1 for Corn Bread)
3 Habaneros (2 for Chili, 1 for Corn Bread)
2 Packages of McCormick mild chili mix
2 large cans of kidney beans (15oz?)
2 cans of stewed tomatoes (14.5oz)
2 boxes of Jiffy Corn Bread Muffin mix (for accompanying the chili with corn bread)
2 lbs ground venison (you could use beef)

Preperation:
Cut 3 jalepeno's and 2 habeneros into small pieces
With large frying pan brown venison with 3 of the japenos and 2 of the habeneros
Pour browned venison (with peppers) into large crock pot. Pour both cans of beans, both cans of tomatoes, and both season packets into crock pot and stir until well mixed.
I personally set my crock pot for the longest time available (10 hrs) but the meat is cooked so I guess it is fine to cook it for what you feel comfortable with.

I also cook two pans of corn bread with my chili. One of them is made with the extra jalepeno and habenero mixed in with it (very good).

This chili is pretty warm, I think it actually increases while your eating it so you may want to leave out a pepper or two on the first try. Enjoy!

I love chili, never tried it with venison though. I really only started eating deer meat in stew in the past few months. It wasn't bad though.

Chili has to have heat though. ;f

The consensus today was this batch was pretty spicy! Personally I think it could have stood another habanero being added to the batch. :D
