New Walther PPS 9mm

Yes, it kept coming up on the screen, the Walther PPS, light & slim. The local shop had one in stock, 9 or 40. Since it's a smaller gun I went with the 9mm, an extra round too.

I have to 'cool off' for 48 hours, then I can bring it home. This one was made in 2013, there was a minor issue reported with early ones. It had to do with a spring along the slide, I thought.

Anyway, felt good in the store. I was leaning towards a Sig P938, but like the trigger setup better on the Walther for CC.

FYI, I put about 100 rounds through it, all reloads. The session went very well. The 2 loads were older 125 or so lead RN & then newer 124 grn JHP ammo.
