Here is a photo of my old P88, a good range companion for over a dozen years.

How do you publish the photos right in the mail, by the way?

Here's the only pic I can find of my PPK.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...f/DSCtat46.jpg

I recently cracked the plastic grip, and want to put wood grips on. Other than Ajax, is there anyplace that has nice ones?

Okay! I just got my double whammy Walther fix of a P99c and a PPK/S but I don't know how to insert my picture of these babies! Any help would surely be appreciated! Eric

eblackhawk,

The easiest way to do it is at the bottom of posting your reply you'll see "attach file". Click on browse to find the pic you want to post.

The P99 is in an Alessi Talon Plus. The PPK is in an Alessi Talon. The difference is that the "Plus" has a reinforcing band at the top of the holster help prevent it from collapsing when inside the pants without the pistol in it. Actually though, I don't think the band is necessary for my use. The regular Talon will stay open without it. However, I only wear the holsters occasionally. For everyday use, the band may actually be better in the long run if the leather softens.

ok i am a new walther fan

i only have a p22 now, getting the can in a few months. but need to see if i need to get the shorter barrel or if i can use the long barrel with the adapter. if i like this p22 as much as i think i will i might be in the market for a p99 later.

ok shot the p22 today and it shot great. no feed problems at all. had to do some adjusting on the laser, but that is expected. this is realy for my wife but i get to play with it when she gets done. i got it for her to shoot idpa with me (special ok by the head RO for her to shoot with a .22). maybe after i get my fn 5.7 i might just need to add a walther P99 in .40 S&W to my collection. she liked it alot more than her ruger 22/45 so maybe i can get rid of that on a new walther, for her you know.

so if you think the .40 S&W is the best round out there, my 10mm has one up on you. 180gr 1300fps, dang that is going to hurt

I have quite a few generic PP's and PPK's. But, this one stands out a bit. Returned home by my father when he took over the Walther factory at the end of WWII.

This is not mine, but my father-in-law's.

Yes, it is Himmler's Presentation PPK.

24K gold plated.

Probably the holy grail of PPK's.
