Firearms prices in Philippines

How much do new firearms cost in the Philippines? Are there some that are a better value than others?

I'm especially interested in a Glock 17 or CZ75B, because I'm familiar with those already, but would consider something else, too.

Rough estimate would be double the price from USA. If you think 10 days California waiting period is long, wait until you buy it in Manila!

Thanks! So my glock 17 might cost around P55,000 and the CZ75B around P45,000 maybe? I'm just curious, is the doubling in prices due to some import taxes or general firearms taxes, or something else? Would the made-in-Philippines Armscor firearms be much cheaper?

I'm not familiar with the pricing policy. From this forum, I'm under the impression that Armscor & Norinco are popular brands.

G17 would be in the 44K range + license fees.CZ at around 40K + license NIB.

Armscor .40 hicaps are okay for IPSC Standard

Actually the Armscorps are priced the same in the USA and sometimes even cheaper.;Q The positive side is cheaper parts if you buy Armscor.

This is my first post. I recently inquired about an Armscor M1911A2 40S&W (full size, 15+1 blued) at the Northstar Armory, Makati.

Costs P29,750 plus license fees which should run another P3-5 thousand.

Well, if you're willing to go to a six-shot revolver, the cheapest Armscor .38s can be had for about P9,000 plus licensing fees. Plenty of security guards use them. Don't know how much the S.A.M. revolvers are.

uhh, the last time i inquired (feb 2005) the cheapest offering of CZ75B was 27,000 and the G17 was 37,500.

via phone inquiry to various gun shops in metro manila.

single stack ARMSCOR 1911A1 in 9mm (beavertail, skeleton hammer & trigger, non snag sight) was 14,500.

How much do armscors go for

Some of you might be interested, I inquried from squires 2 days ago, .45ACP armscor hi-cap.-26K. single stack-18K+ blued. Armscor assembled standard tanfoglios 9mm - 25K. I think these are good value guns that will generally serve one's defensive purposes.

good gun

"Armscor assembled standard tanfoglios 9mm - 25K."

I bought one of those about 3 years ago. It worked very well, wish I had not sold it. Check out those tanfoglios. I might buy another one in the future. Maybe I just lucked out on a good one, but I had zero FTFs/FTEs/anything. Very comfortable, slim grip but was 15 or 16 rounds capacity.
