Here's one for ya'
It's late at night, kids are asleep (if you have any) you just finished a round with the ole' lady and she's tryin' to "cuddle" after then the money tone drops...recall to station for man power, it's the big one. Now... do you stay and have a well deserved night at home with the better half, and some good sleep for a change, or do you go fight the big red dragon and have a blast with the guys...or gals????? Just wondering.

No. Although cuddling is not part of sex for us, it is for most women. That's the cool down phase. Sometimes you've got live your own life instead of dealing w/ other peoples problems. If the pager goes off after a reasonable amount of cuddling though...I'm out the door.

Sadly when I was a resident volunteer there were a few times when the act got interupted by the tap out. We once had a resident that got the boot from the chief because he ignored a call while in the saddle. I wasn't going to let that happen to me. Fortunately all the women that I left hanging were understanding and we picked up where we left off when I got back.

Yea, I've actually had to do that before. Thankfully the GF understood and was ok with it. I actually knew a guy who brought a girl down to the station for a roll on the truck (all Backdraft style), and a call droped so they hid under one of the other trucks until the station cleared out. Now THAT would be funny!
Nate.

That would be funny unless you were under one of the trucks that were to be taken. ;P

Yup, have been interrupted before as well. Never got a 'tude about it though, (now)ex-wife and new girl both understood/understand. Besides, what better way to be welcomed back home after the call?
