Nissan Altima - Best Price?

Anybody have a feel for how much a 4cyl. and 6cyl. Altima should cost.

Don't need any sun roof or fancy stuff. Will need power windows and seat, a/c and the like.

My 2000 Nissan Maxima may be dying. Lousy Maxima cars. This one's got 257,000 miles on it and now it wants to crap out.

Just can't find quality these days.

Well in Feb I purchased a 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R with sticker price of $30,950. Fully loaded.

I went and looked at four models.

2.5 S - 20kish (Obviously the base model)
2.5 SL - 24-26k (Leather/Fully loaded like SE-R)
3.5 SE 25-28k (can be upgraded)
SE-R - 30-31k

I think you can score a brand new 2005 2.5 S which includes power everything and cruise for 20ish.

Good Luck with that.

257,000 miles on a 2000 model?

Good lord man. Do you work half way accross the country from where you live?

That is about as bad as my dad who put 180,000 on a car in 3 years. He was gone at least 4 days of every week, traveling for work.

I take it your a Nissan fan. But don't forget Toyota. They run forever also. My brother's old 1990 V-6 Camry is still driving around with any major fix with over 250k of city driving.
