We stumbled on a great place looking for something to do this weekend...
and the darn place is like 20 minutes from where we live...

It's in the middle of what everyone thinks is "woods", and it's kinda new,
so almost nobody knows it's there...

It's listed as being in Tarpon Springs, and that's usually a 45 minute drive,
but it must be on the tip closest to us, because using some backroads it seemed right around the corner...

The main center is a beautiful building that's new and smells like woodshop...
Fun design and exhibits inside, but I wanted to get on the trails......

It was a lil' too hot yesterday to really get lost in the trail system,
but we pushed it and lived to tell about it...

Most snakes are not aggressive. This one here was shot from just over a foot away. As long as they do not feel threatened, they're just curious. This one was shot from not much farther away, but in this case I knew he had just eaten, so he was lazy.

I like the pics. Especially like the 1st snake pic. I like how the water ripples are in focus alone with the snake's body.
