Just bought a wireless home network kit and need some help.

I just bought a wireless network set up for my home and I installed it and everything thing is fine. the question I have is can I access files on my "hub" cpu from my laptop with the wireless network? if I cant can you please tell me how to do this? My wireless is nothing fancy it just get tired of running from my cpu to my laptop. Thanks for any help.

go to the directory on your desktop you want to see.
right click and choose sharing
share the directory with a username and password.
go to your laptop and look in network places
drill down until you see the directory on your desktop
choose map network drive
choose reconnect on reboot
