Sorry, not sure about websites, but if possible I'd check the local BBB or Rotary Club. Some of those clerks are actually good at their low-paying jobs and wouldn't mind the opportunity to talk about it over a free lunch. Unofficially, of course. Wouldn't want to be liable or anything later on.
The Library's refence desk may be of some help, too. The older employees know a lot more about the community than they'll let on, but would probably enjoy a cup of real coffee, now that the darn budget's been cut again and nobdy can afford to...y'know. See if you can find a copy of "The Complete MBA for Dummies." Best $19.95 I've spent in a long time.
It might be interesting to just come right out and check with the banks or other financiers to see what they're looking for these days. They'll either think you're a newbie or a standup kinda guy. (I'd avoid asking the shiny suit types, though)
