Sniper in Saving Private Ryan

Did you notice that he's shooting left handed with a right handed bolt rifle? He's pretty good at it too.

Yep, that's actor Barry Pepper showing off the intricate attention to detail Spielberg put into this epic. Arms training for the actors was extensive.

I shoot left-handed with right handed guns all the time, works out OK with bolt guns.

No In the old Army they would try to convert you to R/hand My father was drafted in WW 2 had this problem until he explained he was blind in R eye and had to shot as a lefty. Yes he did serve for over 2 years He was also over age limit nearing 38 when drafted seems my father wasn't liked by certin people in his little town.
