Isn't any magazine that is full of bullets "full capacity"?
Just asking

"full capacity" = as many rounds as were designed to fit in a given firearm. A Glock 17 is designed to hold 17 rounds in the mag, therefore 17 is standard.
To be high capacity it would have to contain more rounds than originally specified by the manufacturer.

IMO:
Don't waste your money on Pro-Mags...
I just bought two 10rd Walther factory mags from CDNN for $19.99 each + shipping and that's cheap enough for me...
Just from personal experience and reading threads on various firearm forums over the years it seems Mec-Gar's always work perfectly, Pro-Mags are "iffy" to put it kindly..
Perhaps the quality of the MecGar's products are the reason they are the supplier for the P99/P99c and SW99's mags.

This is funny. What do you have against a gun that is one of the most reliable in the world? I like Glock, but that doesn't keep me from owning and shooting Walthers as well. Maybe the HK is so unreliable it actually needs a second strike capablity, not that anyone with sense would bother with pulling the hammer twice, just rack a new round in and go.

Beats me why you would want a second strike capability. If a cartridge doesn't fire on the first strike, it likely won't fire on the second. Just eject the dud and go on. Of course, if the second round doesn't fire, then there may be a problem with the gun, or you have bad ammo.

Actually, if it doesn't fire on the first strike there is an 85% probability it will fire on the second.

How do you figure that? Do you have data to prove it?

If anyone knows of a company with P99 9mm 15 rd factory mags in stock, I would appreciate a heads up. I have checked the links above and not found anything. I made the mistake of purchasing a couple of Pro-mags from the local gun show a few weeks ago and as stated above they are poor quality. One of them won't even lock the slide back. I will take them back the next gun show, but in the mean time I would like to locate a couple factory mags.
Thanks,

Not sure if anyone knows this, but any Smith double stack 9mm mag can be made to work reliably. All that needs to be done is the mag catch recut, but the feed lips and external dimentions are the same. If you have a line on walther followers, they will even lock the slide back. Unmodified the slide will lock back most of the time, and occasionaly lock with one round in the mag. Not a big deal for me, as the feed is 100% and I can get 15 rounders for about 6 bucks. 30 rounders are about 18 bucks.
