That's exactly what I'm saying. Unfortunately it's up to good ole Martha Coakley. She has the final say as to what is or is not MA compliant. (I believe this has something to do with a loaded chamber indicator among other things)
Also I never said that I would be asking an LEO to do this, I only mentioned that the only way to take advantage would be to have LE purchase and resell, and I don't feel like having an LEO lose his job over a $500 pistol that Coakley doesn't like.
Seems I will either have to do some good research and find a G27 gen 4 and pay out the ass for it, find a gen 3 model for more then I could buy a new one for, or buy something Coakley finds ok to sell in MA without any problems.
Also, moving out of state would in all actuality cost more then buying almost any firearm in general. I'd have a license I wouldn't be able to use, the cost of moving all my stuff would add up, etc etc. It's a lose-lose situation for anyone in MA.
Oh did I mention we can't have anything over a 10 rounds mag unless its on/before 9/13/94? Yeah, so getting a new gun would result in my having to send the mags back and wait for the 10 rounders to show up.
