So are you a roid head if you use prohormones?
It seems to me that some of the stronger prohormone supplements on the market are just about as potent as real anabolic steroids. If you take these supplements, should you really be considered drug free, or are you just a 'legal' juicehead?
Just curious what you all think.

There is no such thing as a prohormone that works anywhere remotely near a legitimate steroid. Even the fabled "M1T", Methylated Testosterone, or whatever it is, is notorious for "twice the side effects, with an 8th of the results!".
Regardless, they do mess with your endocrine system as much (if not more, in the case of m1T) than any steroid does, and therefore, you are making more of a descision to injure your body over a social stigma (since prohos are illegal as well as steroids now), than a "real" juiced bodybuilder... because you are choosing to use a product that has harsher side-effects, less results, and is illegal too.
Let's put it this way, Doctors still perscribe Testosterone Cypionate to patients with low test levels or people with sex changes... when is the last time you heard of any doctors perscribing a horomone precursor?
Frankly, I suggest you stay clean. Nothing that the supplement companies will ever sell you, actually works as advertised. It's better just to eat good food, and train like you mean it.

Ummmmm...androgel?
Testosterone esters aren't free of side-effects either. You're going to get side-effects nomatter what.
If you want safety, though, stick with a longer acting ester like cypionate or enanthate. They also tend to hurt less than propionate and whatnot.

Androgel is actually testosterone in alcohol suspension, added to gel form for topical administration. "Andro" is short for "Androgen", as in Androgen Receptor, as in the cells that react to steroids, as in the part of your body that actually will use steroids, then create an androgenic/ergogenic/anabolic response... not the word "androstendione", which describes a wannabe steroid/proho that is about as useful as a monkey-poo sculpture encrusted with diamonds.

So, where did I say that steroids don't have any side effects?

Yes, if you want safety, though, feel free to do illegal substances due to advice on an internet forum about firearms.

Mr. Joshua is right. Even though when they were legal the prohormones would still make an athlete fail a drug test they are nothing like a true steroid.
IMO you are still definitely drug free if you take a prohormone (although they are not legal anymore)
