L-Arginine and running
Hello, I have a friend who swears that he can run, spar(we do karate), and in general have better aerobic capacity when taking L_Arginine 3x a day, with a carbohydrate drink, I have not seen any studies on this, but he takes the brand made by NOW....
Basically, he says that when on it for several weeks and running it seems to make a difference, then when he was off it and kept the same running routine there was a noticable difference.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I know it is an essential amino acid.
