Just picked up a Scorpio SR-i500 SE alarm system for my bike.

Complete package including perimeter sensor, backup power, and remote ignition disable.
Anyone here have experience with this alarm system? I've heard it's one of the better motorcycle alarms.

I don't know anything about motorcycle alarms, but I've seen a few guys who lost the alarm remote control can't start the bikes.

The ignition disable is passive.
It's more of a anti-bikejacking type feature.
A key is easier to lose than the remote, and without a key you are SOL as well.
I am really most interested in the perimeter sensor, helps to keep the morons from climbing all over your bike while you are out of sight.
A friend of mine walked out of a store just in time to see a kid climb onto and knock over his new bike, while the parents stood by and watched. They probably werent too happy when their insurance coughed up $7000 for repairs.

I love the alarm system on my bike. The vibration feature is what sold me because I'm deaf and can't hear alarms so it's nice to have the remote vibrating in my pocket to let me know that some fools need more breathing holes in their torsos when I come out.
