Firefox users, how do I ...
open firefox with several tabs running at the same time? If I want to open firefox with several tabs already open, like one for yahoo, one for GT, and one for something else, can I set firefox to do this? I am using firefox 1.5 if this matters.
Thanks in advance.
Bob

Open the tabs you want to open every time you run Firefox. You can do this by right clicking on the link in your bookmarks and selecting "Open in new tab". Now, go to Tools>Options and under home page, select "Use current pages".
Hope this helps.

I don't have 1.5 but I think it's -

The easy way to do it is to set those tabs up as your homepages.
Open up all of the tabs that you want to use.
Tools>Options...>General>Use Current Pages
You can also set up a specific shortcut on your desktop or in your start menu, that uses the following command (or Target):
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "www.yahoo.com| www.glocktalk.com"
With as many URLs as you would like separated by the | symbol.
Joey
Edited to add that I didn't see that BL33D 4 M3 already detailed the first option.

http://www.glocktalk.com| http://www.google.com
Edited to fix:
To open every page you want as soon as you click the FF shortcut, type |(shift+\) between the url's.

Use the middle mouse button (or click the scroll wheel) on a link and a new tab is opened up.

Another option is to put all of favorite pages into their own bookmark folder. Then, click on "Open in Tabs" in menu of the bookmark folder.
