Is it possible to convert the audio portion of a dvd into mp3 files?
I have a few instructional dvds that I would like to listern to in the car while I drive. I thought if I could somehow "extract" the audio out of them then I would be able to use it in the car or with my iPod.
Here's a guide on how to do it using some free software. I haven't tried this exact process like you describe, so I'm not sure if you can do it directly from the DVD or if you have to rip it to your harddrive first.

Can't get it to work, maybe it's "operator error"?
