I would suggest 7.62x39 ammo
If you can find it. Seems as though Aim Surplus doesn't have any!
Boy wouldn't that be funny! Everyone with their chinese rifles and all of a sudden no more ammo for them.

What I bought at the gun show (so far. . . )
Here's the list of stuff I bought at real bargains(?)-
1. Iron Sights .40 barrel - Twin Pines - P 8,100 (inc. tax)
2. 10 pcs. 9mm ammo box - True Weight - P 850 @ P 85 ea.
3. 100 rds. 9mm S&B JHP - PB Dionisio - P 1,800 @ P 18 ea.
4. 100 rds. 9mm Remington - PB Dionisio - P 1,800 @ P 18 ea.
5. Bo mar BMCS 1 - True Weight - P 4,500
6. 2 guncases - Hahn - P 1,686.60 @ P843.30 ea.
7. 1000 pcs. 9mm FMJ heads - Armscor - P 3,200 @ P3.20 ea.
8. SS Magwell - Shooter's - P710
9. 4 JR Speed mag pouches - PB Dionisio - P 3,240
10. 3 G17 mags - Trust Trade - P4,500 @ P1,500 ea.
Was toying with the idea of buying a hi-cap frame from Shooter's for only P7,500 and experiment with it but ran out of moolah. ;f
You'll need pants with deep pockets when you go there.
All the Glocks were being sold at reduced prices. ;P
Trust Trade had an array of Taurus' at very reasonable (and tempting) prices. A lot of new models including .22 rifles.
Norcs of all configurations were everywhere too and were flying off the shelves because of their bargain prices. Their shotguns look good and robust.

Batangueño, Pepe and Darwin, If I was still living there, I'd buy the same. Your pistols look sweeeeet!
I'm happy to see prices of firearms and parts are not that expensive. It's maybe the effect of the assault weapons ban in the US that was grandfathered. Firearms manufacturers and other industries dependent on it now have a sense of security about the future of the industry. And the peso-dollar exchange rate has also been improving to the peso's advantage.
BTW isn't it detrimental to the trigger mechanism the way they "disable" the trigger by using a cable tie?
When I was still in the Philippines, Twin Pines Bacolod did that to all of their guns for extended periods of time. I pity the DA/SA pistols. The Beretta pistol that they had on display, had a weird trigger pull after we tried it.
They should have used trigger locks.

hehehehe i thought i'd post here about my gunshow day...
anyway here it goes...
nashe, surprise surprise, came thru with my order for a barsto g22 barrel, at first i thought it needed fitting, but it was just tight and i just got it to fit here at home, i'll post pics when i have the films developed, low tech camera ko hehehehe.
the only downside was i did not let jane right down the price that we agreed upon, and pinatongan nya ng 500 for processing fee daw kasi nahirapan sila sa customs, so lumabas na 15,500 damage ko;g
nakabili din ako ng bagong corbon 150grains at 1200fps, the bullet is made by sierra, not nosler;f
and a pascual dual mag holder for my rifle cos binigyan ako ng bayaw ko ng 2 mags sa iloilo;f
afterwhich a friend met me there, he was a newbie and he wanted a semi-auto pistol, budget nya 20k, so pumunta ake ke deenoh, paul was also there, i asked for there advice and deenoh pointed me to the norinco cz clone, to make a long story short deenoh gave it to us for 19k complete with papers etc.;f
deenoh/paul thanks so much pala, top of mind ko that day was the armscor all steel da/sa 9mm, it was going for 19k unit price only, buti nalang you guys pointed me to the right direction, ang norc pala forged steel pa!!!;f
thanks again guys!!!;f

atmarcella,
thanks, pero wala na yung mags ng g22 kanina sa trustrade nung pumunta ako.
I saw the steyr ang ganda ng feel sa kamay medyo malad lang ng konti pero parang masarap iputok.mas madali ibalik sa point of aim.
I also saw The Sti edge sa WCS, seems like a good deal kasi buo yun galing sa sti hindi halohalo yung parts tapos around 50,000 less kesa magpabuo sa sti dealer dito. I guess talagang mas mahal pag custom made, but if you want a pure sti, this seems to be a good idea.by the way meron bang tungsten recoil master gawa yung sti? kasi sabi nung tindero sa WCS tungsten recoil master daw yung nakakabit sa edge eh, nung sinabi ko iba yung tungsten guide rod sa recoil master, parang gusto pa ako awayin at nawalan na sya ng gana ipakita yung mga gamit nila.

There was last Saturday. If not available na, suggest you order and get from their store na lang. They even had the Glock 36 mags which normally is not available. Got the surprise of my life when I saw Glock mags at P1,500 only at the Trust Trade booth.
