My god... Is that a blood spot on the rear door of the semi trailer?
How much do you think it will cost to fix the Vette?

15 years as a Paramedic, I have seen enough crap like this.
An interesting article caught my attention the other day. In instances like this where there is no apparent reason for this to happen, could it be a suicide? If so, how many fatal traffic "accidents" really are suicides?

That blood splat on the door looks to be right about where the guys head wouldve been in the car.I think it is safe to say that this guy died instantly.

Wow. That guy had to be BARRELLING down the breakdown lane, and then into a parked semi. The question is, why didn't he just swerve into the grass and face the roll? Looks like he was doing something VERY risky, VERY absent-mindedly.
Either that or he was speeding and hit parked traffic, after which the driver just pulled over out of traffic, dragging the vette with him. But the questions remains, why not swerve?
Shame good people have to come along and clean this up.

Ouch!
I bet that a mark or two the next day.
On a serious note, it is a shame to see such a good car in a state like that.
If the driver was DUI, then they got what they deserved. I just hope that they didn't take anyone else with them.

The truck is on the shoulder of the road. Unless yoda showed up and moved the wreck over, im thinking maybe he decided to pass on the shoulder and of all places there happen to be the rig. But im probably wronge, guys who drive really nice sports cars are never seen going over the speed limt or ocasionally weaving in between traffic... right?

At 100mph you are moving 146.67fps, you swerve into the brake lane, see the truck 200 feet in front of you, you're dead.

Seen a semi the other day with a bumper sticker "If you can't stop.....Smile as you go under" Just kinda fits the pic.

I thought of this photo this morning as I drove to work in 70mph traffic... wait no - we are all going to suddently scream to a stop... creep for a while and then speed back up to 70mph so we can again all slam on our brakes and come to a stop again....
Anyway - perhaps this guy was driving too fast and traffic suddenly slowed and he hit the shoulder to keep from rear ending the traffic on the road - but sadly the shoulder was already occupied by this parked truck.
