Troy's new Alpha rail is basically the TRX Extreme that uses the stock barrel nut. Meaning after Adco shaves my fsb and cuts my delta ring I can install it without removing the barrel nut.

Nevermore1701,
What ColdBlooded said.

ColdBlooded,
I cut my delta ring and shaved my front sight post down with a dremel. Took me about 2 hrs, taking my time. I cut the retaining ring, behind the FSB, with a dremel too, after I un-pinned my FSB and moved it forward a bit. First time I had ever done any of those thing to an AR.

I just added a SD3G. WOW, I love it. This was like adding the cherry on top of an already great rifle.

That is interesting. Don't guess they have one with the oval VTAC cutouts? I'd buy one of those in as long as it took me to grab my wallet!

Not yet. But they will probably have one out at Shot. Just a guess.

I have the tools, and if it was a my PSA or Spikes, I would not hesitate. But as this will be my first BCM, and a BFH at that, I want it to be perfect, so it's going to the pros.

I've done a few, it's beyond easy. I'm sure you'll end up doing a few at some point

Thank you! I like it, like it a lot. A very well made rifle that gives you a lot of flexibility for different calibers and barrel lengths....

With its proper glass in a BoBro mount.

I'd love a good .308 AR with a .260 upper to go with my bolt gun.

.260 and 6.5 are both barrel options with the LMT MWS... I am going to add a 6.5 not sure about .260 though.
