I checked out the SRS today, one of the guys at Rainier Arms had one on his rifle, I really want one now, I am gonna get a rail first (if DD ever releases the new DDM4 fsp). After that I will be putting away money for an SRS.

Why the Eotech 512? I would do some research on them, the XPS line has better battery management, the 512 is old technology. That and the 512 is much more fragile than the XPS linne, I started years ago with a 512 had 2 break, then I upgraded to an XPS 2.0 earlier this year, a vast improvement over the old line, plus it uses the same batteries as my flashlight.

The 512 has been a tried-and-true optic for many years.
Why not XPS?
Have yet to jump on the CR123 bandwagon. I'll consider an upgrade once a AA variant XPS comes out.

Got my new AR today. Aero Precision upper and lower... shoots good for not being a big name assembled rifle. Not digging the scope though. I want a Nikon M223 series scope for it. Along with longer hand guards (rifle lengthI think), a new stock, and a new grip lol

Colt SP1 lower and Colt A2 upper. Nothing fancy but a fun little carbine that's a definite change to my norm.
Thanks Greg.

Are we limited to only AR-15s here or is this ok?
