My AR Pistol, The DPMS levang comp does a good job of taming the flash and it makes the muzzle report almost sound like my Carbine. (Almost )
I used a LAR Grizzly Pistol marked lower, and a CMT flat top upper, M1S 7.5 barrel, M1S Pistol buffer setup, and it functions flawless. I wrapped the buffer tube with para cord, and I just rest it on my cheek when shooting.

I'm very happy with it.
I took it to the shoot we had here a little while ago, and did some night shooting with and with out the comp, and everyone had alot of fun with it.
I have been thinking about turning it into a SBR, one day I might but, I think I want a suppressor for my carbine first.

Very nice, how do you like that Noveske barrel?

And Stickman, your pictures always make me want to spend money.

The Noveske barrel is outstanding... much more accurate than I am Off the bench it was shooting ragged holes with cheap ammo (50m)... I have yet to get it out to a longer range.

Threads like this cause me to enjoy the versatility of the AR platform. Nice rigs all!

Speaking of which, I need to spend some cash/OT at Rainier (much to the chagrin of my bride).

Not trying to show off,the one on the right is a GSE bought about six months ago, the other is a homebuilt using a DPMS lower and a Model 1 CAR upper that I built for my brother. took it to a gunsmith for inspection and he complimented me on such a fine job for a first timer.

We'll see. I haven't used them much yet. I don't see myself abondoning USGI mags anytime soon... I don't like that the floor plates widen the mag on the bottom (like when you are storing/holding mags in a mag pouch side by side it's annoying).

I'm sure I can throw it out my window or drop it from the top of my house... but I don't know if they will hold ammo for months/years without breaking... I know my USGI mags don't have issues with that...

So, jury is still out.

...Now back to the pictures...
