Here is my new improved Superlight AR15 with a Cav Arms MKII lower. Weighs in at 6.8lbs with a 30 round mag. Working on a write up for my blog. Better pics for the blog too.

Okay, in my last post I said I was working on an SPR. Well the first thing I did was move the A2 stock to the LRB Lower and put a VLTOR E-Mod on the Carbine. It ended up looking like this - (but I am still looking at an EOTech for the MI Extended Rail):

Anyway, I installed a Timney 3 LB in the lower, along with the DD Ambi Burnsed:

The Rainier SPR Ultra Match came in. It has a DD Lite 12.0, Shilen barrel with PWS FSC-556 Comp, CMT upper with Gas Buster charging handle and YHM Chrome BC and bolt:

I mounted an older Leupold Vari-X III 6.5x20 50mm AO Matte Target scope in a LaRue QD mount:

Finished (except for BUIS) rifle looks like this:

The pictures are large, please click them to see the details.

Sorry about the second post, but I was not really happy with the Leupold mounted on the carry handle of the Carbine. Pulled it, and put an EOTech 516 on the MI Extended Rail.

My wife bought this LWRC M6A2 about 2 1/2 weeks before I deployed to Iraq as a surprise for me. I can't wait to get back home and shoot it, and to hug my wonderful wife again.

These are probably old news to people who regularly check the boards, but I don't think I've ever posted them here:
