obvious question coming to mind of if you are in ft. worth, why haven't you swapped this around yet? Now granted it is better than not owning an ar, but that California law and the ar-15 is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. or seen.

Fair question... I'm the inventor of the Hammerhead and the CEO of the company that makes these. So I use what we produce. It's also a show of solidarity with my CA brothers in arms, I did live in San Diego CA for the last couple years and got a first hand experience of the socialist boot stamping on my face.

Besides that, I just prefer the feel of the Hammerhead equipped rifle to that of the pistol gripped rifle. I'm a very tall guy and the ability to hold my head more upright is a huge bonus for me, no more neck pain trying to hunch over the weapon. For guys who like to shoot the larger calibers they really soak up the recoil (Solid aluminum product has a mass of 400g).

We have started selling these into the free states as well. Not just for restricted states. The U.S. military has also taken an interest...

My first carbine (up to now I was a 20-incher guy):
Click the image to open in full size.

Noveske N4 Light Basic upper (came with auto BCG, Troy rear sight and permanently attached Vortex), Aimpoint Comp M3 on a LaRue LT-150, Daniel Defense Omega 7" with three packs worth of MagPul XTM rail covers, Falcon Industries Ergo ambi grip, Vltor E-Mod on a CMT/Stag mil-spec receiver extension, LMT heavy buffer.

It seems MagPul, Falcon Industries and Vltor have different ideas about dark earth...

I've made some changes to my AR. I added a muzzle break and Eotech 517 A65. I still need to get a pop up rear sight and I'd like a new stock. The mount up front is for a Harris Bipod

Millett DMS-1 1-4x24 Tactical Scope. I purchased mine through SWFA. Best price around ($199.99).

Wow, I'd say best price!! That's over a $100 less than I paid for mine.

I'm tempted to try one of those DMS scopes for my build. See how I like that, then think about one of the more expensive ones.

This is my second build using a DMS. I am very pleased with it. I also have a build I did with a Trijicon Accupoint. Well worth the money. The best buy for the money is the DMS.
