I have field stripped it and found NO marks on the trigger group or on the gas piston assembly anywhere. The trigger group is actually pretty rough cut, not what I would expect from a USA commercial supplier.

The lack of ANY USA markings on anything but the receiver is now starting to worry me. The mag also has NO markings on it, also a worry when there are no other USA markings.

I can found no PROOF that this is anything but a 14/1 assembly, Should I trust the dealer, or do you think I should start swapping out parts?

I couldn't be happier with mine.... smoothest trigger I've seen, and it is an absolute blast to fire.... The shorter barrel makes for a very small package compared to most AK pistols.

Nice AK. What kind of wood did you use?

The stock set is a laminate from Ironwood designs.

My updated GP WASR10. Decided to give my nasty Tapco synthetic Galil folding stock the ol' heave ho in favor of a K-VAR NATO length fixed stock. The Warsaw pact fixed stock is more traditional, but the trigger reach was too short for me. I went for functionality rather than form.

Might look into plastic furniture in the front to give it an all black rifle look.

Also still wanting a wood stock in the future.

I built the top two from Hungarian AMD kits. I dismantled the middle one because of cycling problems. The lower is an MAK-90 with the proper US parts.

I found that pic on another site. I did not know until now, what that bolt coversion was called. I though it was a cool conversion for AK's. Thanks dakotasdad!!
