Meet the milled M-70s
Haven't pulled them all out for a family picture for CarlosC but figured this might hold him until I get a chance to (also waiting until I get the M-72 RPK re-weld complete).

Left to right: (Gabija, Sonja, Persephone)
M-70 pistol (cut receiver re-welded for center repair section), M-70 AB (repair plate re-weld), M-70B (Cut receiver re-weled for center repair section).
Close up of re-weled receivers:

Having never been a fan of tacticool bits on AK rifles, I just threw some stain on my Romy 10/63 and called it good. After shooting maybe 4000 rounds through it I've never had one jam or hiccup with the dirtiest of ammunition and have made a believer out of one AR-nut friend who was on the 'AKs are accurate only up to 50 yards' band-wagon.

Norinco Type-56
Got it brandnew. Sanded down the cheap varnish and the wife did the wood burn job with a pastry torch! Sealed it with some stain and wax.

My Wasr 10/63, added a $12 Romy-G foregrip/ buttstock and polished the bolt. I need to stain the wood and add a slant brake, then it's finished.

I sold my GP WASR10/63 a couple years ago and been without an AK rifle since until today. I picked up this NIB ATM Polish 1960 for 699! This one is much better constructed than the WASR10 however in my book the WASR10 is still an excellent choice.
