Thats good of you to take care of that old car!
Those old turbo foxes (Mustang and T-Bird) did pretty good for they're day. Acceleration AND handling!
They could still teach a boy-ricer in a souped-up Civic a few things.

Those SVOs are cool in there own little niche way.
Judging by the interior pic, I say gut it and cage it and make a sweet street/track car out of it.

Good luck with it. I have also liked the SVO.

The seats and stuff are good. I guess I just glanced at the pic too quickly. The carpet does have a bunch of stains, unless it is just dirt that can be shampooed out.
BTW good job on the engine bay.

Fuel pump is rusted to hell, and I poured five gallons of bright red varnish out of the tank last night. :( I'm planning on swapping the tank from my LX (complete with 255lph HP pump) into the SVO tomorrow. It cranked over on the jump box, so I'm mildly optimistic that it might start with some fuel.
I'll post pics of the undercarriage - it's sooooooo clean.

With $4/gallon gas on the horizon, I think it would be cool if Ford brought it back with modern ecu fuel saving tricks and yet still have 300+hp.
