To the OP, great pics, thanks for post.

For my sub-compact Glock, I really like the Pearce +1.

For my standard size (aka full size) Glock, I've considered the +2 glock brand extension. I use my standard size glock as my go to home SD firearm, so concealment and carry is not an issue.

At the same time, I've seen people at the range have all the ammo dumped on the ground due to a magazine malfunction (various situations, many different firearm brands, even factory spec).

How good is the insert's lock?

Awesome posting! Very helpful.

Thanks for the AWESOME posting. Question: The Pearce +1 for the G27, ever had any feeding problems? Do you recommend using heavier weight magazine springs?

For what it's worth, I use the Pearce +1 with stock spring, and I've never had any problems to speak of with my 27. I carry with the GAP plates for concealment.

Hey Delta, by GAP plates, do you mean the original mag. base plates that come when you buy the G27?

They are awesome! Stability when firing? Yes, but definite aid when drawing a sub-compact. Excellent product!

I love those things. It really helps my grip. I curl under the mag, and it has helped me stop milking the grip. To each there own, but the extended mags all pinch my fingers. I have a bunch in a box. I think I will melt them down and make a mini glock figurine.

Don't own a G26 yet, but am curious at a straight comparison between the GLOCK-7151(+2) and the Pearce-26XL(+0), mag capacity aside: can anyone compare the feel, comfort, enhanced contollability, and feeding reliability for someone with medium/large hands. The capacity is not as important as the other factors, esp. reliability. And a minor question re the GLOCK-7151: does it involve a different spring than the stock 10-round mag?

This G 27 is my daily carry gun. Most of the time I carry it with the standard 9 round with the +1 extension.
When I can I will use the 15 rounder for the G 22. Looks funny a full frame on a sub.

I have not seen anything in OD. I told the G.A.P. guys that they should make them. (I think they are busy working on the G.A.P. for the 29 & 30)
This is the best scrapinby http://img710.imageshack.us/i/scrapinbyod.jpg/
and myself http://img844.imageshack.us/i/g27od6.jpg/
could come up with. Testors 1265 Flat Olive Drab. I painted a G.A.P. and a Slug Plug with 3 coats following the recommendation, on the can, to place can in warm water, prior to use, in order to help the paint to mist.
Not an exact match, but I think better than black.

How well do you think that Testers paint will last? Would it do any good to use their primer 1st?

Looks great, but I would worry about paint durability in a CCW. How is the finish holding up so far?

Thanks. I just looked. The paint job was done about 2 months ago. I carry in a CBST about 40% of the time.
I work on a Navy base
The OD is wearing off on the bottom edge of the floor plate and the outer bottom edge of the Slug Plug.
Maybe I'll try the primer on another floor plate before the paint coats.

I wonder how much interest there would be in OD extensions? Are there only a select few of us who would desire this, or does everybody that owns an OD baby glock want one? Maybe we could get an order in mass from Pearce? Any thoughts....

That's what I was trying to imply. If you use a good primer 1st (2 coats) then 2 or maybe 3 coats of finish color it will hold up fine. I use a Spar varnish (flat) to the color coat and you can't dig it off.
