This is my first post in the GlockTalk forum, and the number for me is zero. I have one firearm, an inherited PPK. But it has whetted my appetite for something reliable in a more powerful caliber. I have been renting 9's and a couple of 40's, and have come to the tentative conclusion that a G17 should be my first purchased gun. It fits my hand, and 9mm is the least expensive non-rimfire round. But I vacillate towards the G22. Hmmm, decisions, decisions...

I prefer the G17 over the G22. If you still desire a .40, I'd recommend the G35. Of course, all depends what you're using it for.

5 and counting
read great advice many years ago in gun magazine: if you REALLY like your particular gun, buy another one, multiple logical reasons provided. So I try to follow as $$$ dictates. I have 21 &21 SF, 30 & 30 SF and a lone 36. Still debating a second 36 or starting on the 20 & 29 series.

I'm a newly converted Glock shooter.
I currently own two, a G19, and a G27.
Trust me I'm gonna have at least 4 before the end of the month.
G17 RTF and probably a Comp'd model.

I used to have Glocks and 1911's, but, once Obama got elected I decided to sell them all to a very Large native-American guy with orange and blue hair driving a Chevette at a flea market. He showed me his ID and he was a member of my state, so I feel safer now. I'll just call 911 when the crackheads are kicking in my door for the home-invasion robbery. I felt that was only right, since our new president and attorney general think that no civilians should possess any firearms. They're the experts, you know.
