Im out of the country "can't shoot , can't smell vv powder.. so the only thing i can do is to bug you guys with questions that some of you might have encountered before.

Here goes:
-What do you think about the STI stinger?
-Any experience with this short/light racegun that you guys want to share.
-Price/parts availabilty.(Attn Deenoh)
-Anything that would help me out to find the perfect race gun,versatile enough for family use

toxic: the STI grandmaster and Stinger are very expensive, unless dino gives you a very good price. I think nasa 230K++ na

SPS pistols from PBD are custom built one at a time so that may not be feasible, unless meron available na buo unit sa store. But i wouldn't get that kasi mas mahal lalabas bec. you have to upgrade the internal parts. SPS internals are not as durable as EB, Wilson, STI, SVI, etc.

your other option is to get a used open gun ranging from P80-120k. Tawaran mo na lang yung pistol ni Pogi. Anyway sa May or June pa siguro lalabas yun kasi mag gun ban na e! nyahahaha!

Don't get a short racegun, masyado yata violent ang recoil although some would say it is easier to move from target to target. Pero if you look at it sa top shooters (local and international) walang gumagamit ng short na open gun.

Master Yoda...i liked that bagay na bagay sa height ko

and lakas mong manghila Doc EC.
Taking my wife and kids to comps has increased their inclination to Practical shooting, so i guess kailangan ko na ng light saber.

Last year or is it 2 years ago(cant remember) i asked G. Tan for the price of the grandmaster its about 130k, bilis tumaas ng price and katakot ng bumile ngayon dun ..so i guess STInger is now eliminated from my choices for lightsaber.

Nothing beats the opinion of a knowlegable and eperienced BOG's

From the STI: website:
"As stands right now, it looks like the "Stinger" is on its way out. It seems that the guys in the market for a shorter race gun are willing to spring the big bucks to the custom builders. Makes our life easier and opens another parts market."

Doc is right. Don't go for P230++STI open na hindi mo alam kung ano-ano inilagay sa loob. Eventually, you'll end up changing majority of internals. Eh baka abutin ng P0.5 million open mo.

Doc helped me a lot. He masterminded building up mine. Frame, slide and barrel are ALL SPS BUT ALL other internals are PREMIUM PARTS that he ordered from U.S.A. In fact even the design and kung ano-ano pang ibubutas sa slide-siya ang nag-decide and I totally agreed. Try mo pag uuwi ka. Pag nagustuhan mo...let's talk. Kaya lang MAJORITY NG PARTS-PULA!

Red is great Sir, my plan for an open gun is pwede gamitin ng Mrs. ko and my kids aswell..ill be home June next year..pag nandyan ako ,every weekend kahit san may putok sa Luzon i join ..so hahanapin na lang kita to try your open Sir.

psst! tsaka naaawa na kasi sina mco, gundog, jovit and batangueno sa iyo. wala raw ginagawa mga bad boys pag ikaw na-putok kundi magpulot ng basyo mo! pero matipid naman sa pag paste ng target boards!

Mga BUSIT na badboys yan. Kaya nga palaging may extra P300 na tip ako sa kanila para sa SUPER PAGOD nilang magpulot.

It is hard to make major anyways with the stinger. You have to compress your loads. Here they use the STInger as steel guns with minor loads.
