What 12 ga load for deer?

Always hunted whitetail with a rifle but will be using a shotgun tomorrow. Should I go with buckshot or a rifled slug? Gun is a smoothbore. Thanks.

Do a search in this forum and caliber forum, numerous post that talks out the ying yang on 12ga and loads.

I hope you really burn a few of whatever you pick before going out tomorrow.

But your are true that your choices are limited to buck or rifled slug in a SB.
