*easiest* way to bring a pistol into the phil.

i'll be in the philippines for a month or so and wanted to know what the best way was to bring my CA legal springfield into the country.

I don't want to have it held there for a bad time, misused/abused or confiscated. Also, don't want to pay any extra "taxes".

any words?

i'll be travelling pal.

i would like to bring
one 1911
5-6 magazines
iwb holster

maybe a case and cleaning tools?

you can try bringing it home with an escort of course going straight to jail. unless you are a competitor or a part of the law enforcement community or perhaps the president's best friend.

LAx ako noon using PAL Direct. Ang daming mga kababayan sa waiting area syempre. Then as more passengers are filling the lounge I see one full dress uniform na passenger, halatang opisyal I m not sure kong PNP or military. He has all the bars and citations on his uniform . Naka porma talaga at naka hawak ng briefcase. Once seated the PAL employee spoke on the microphone just before boarding that we are privilege to have General so and so to be on this flight to Manila. Hanep...

I don't think it would be possible at this time because of the nationwide gun ban imposed by the Commission on Elections from this month until June 2007. You can go over the Comelec guidelines by following this link.

Not unless you are a diplomat and it is inside a diplomatic pouch.
