hi, does anyone know if a a comelec exemption to carry is available now? if so how much? last iheard it was going for 15- 20k now, is that true,tnx for the replies in advance

I believe comelec has started issuing gun ban exemptions already. It cost Php 500. One of the requirements though is your current ptc. I'm sure someone here more knowledgeable will chime in.

Are these confirmed. Anyone of you guys already have the exemption? How long to process then and what do you need to provide?

Applied my exemption last jan 17 and paid the 500 fee at the comelec office (intramuros).They issued me that receipt and the reference number documents.

I had my secretary followed it up sa intramuros 3 times na and up to know wala. She said even the police and the military people and getting pissed off due to the long wait at the comelec office. Comm.Ferrer can't handle the processing and approval...

My secretary was told to returned again 2 weeks from now. some claim receipt are also being loss in the process so be careful must have another copy on hand...
