Metrolina Dixie Gun Show?
Anyone been? Is it worth my time? There's one next weekend (Saturday the 24th).
Thanks...

I was wondering that too b/c I was planning on going. I went to that C&E show @ the Merch Mart on Saturday. I got a couple extra G19 mags and one of those Glock mats from the Outer Banks Ammo guy. He has alot of Glock goodies for sale. Maybe he will be at the Dixie show. The Land of The Sky show on Columbia, awhile back, was pretty good too.

When I went to Dixie gun and Knife show last year, there seemed to be a few different vendors than at C&E. I guess a few of them think gunshow customers have brain damage or something with their prices. IMO it seems that the regular vendors with C&E are a lot better with prices, but hey its a gunshow and Im a negative person who thinks everyone else is an A-hole. Yep Im goin!
I bought 2 G19 mags from the Outer banks guy too, then after the gunshow I go to my buddys shop and he gives me 5 G19 hi caps for free, I wish I had of known that $36 ago.

I wish my buddy had a shop....
I forget that OBX guy's name. He even had on a nametag I think. He is really tall and super-skinny....kinda ethnically mixed looking. He seemed really cool but was real busy b/c alot of people were buying from him.

Could it be what's his name from Frisco rod and gun?
Reminding me, Reds army navy is getting into the gun buisness.

I'd be really really really interested to see how "Ol' Red" would do with an FFL. Better than Ol' Henry, ya reckon?

Just hide the boxes of guns and bags of accessories somewhere. You'll be fine.

This was my first DIXIE gun show and I wasn't to impressed.
To me the Winston Salem show is just one step lower but it's closer to home.
Everything was sky high, especially the ammo.
Pretty crowded also.
Lotsof people buying guns though. There were lines at a few tables waiting to be processed.

Its GOT to be better than the one in GSO and Lexington.
Sam needs to either move the Lexington show, or start setting up outside...I wont go back to it. Need a bottle of KY and a shoehorn to get around in there.

It was pretty crowded early on, but the crowds usually thin out around lunchtime. Everything is marked up like 500 percent but you can get a deal on some stuff I guess. I saw one of the ammo vendors selling 9mm WWB/50 rds. for $9.
I bought some gun cleaning supplies and a extra mag for my G19.
