Very Good Download Speed,So-So Upload

With Comcast cable i am getting 11,745 kbps download speed


but only 369 kbps upload speed


How can i increase my upload speed,thanks!

it's limited by your cable system.

and dont count on 11Mbs download forever. It will go down as more people sign on.

Yeah, for clarification, your connection speed for broadband is often two-fold. One speed for download, one for upload. Generally the upload speed is much slower.

that's a sucky upload IMO.

I use residential roadrunner. about 5,000 down, and nearly 1,000 up.

Thats about the same for me. RR and 5-6000 down bouncing all up and down the scale and a pretty consistant 750K-1000K upload.

makes one wonder where all that BW is going to when I am scking dirt.

Comcast sells different levels. If you want a higher upload level, be prepared to pay a lot more however!

You might find the pricing on their website, otherwise a call to CS should get you the bad news.

This was the best I could get from a server in NY. The server closer to home was alot slower. I have Comcast with their lowest tier.
