All of my 40s have it, I have over 100 rounds of it.

I had 200 rounds of 9 mm, a friend wanted it and bought them from me.

I think Critical Duty will do just as good of a job with fragmentation.

I still have 200 cartridges each in .40 Smith and Wesson, 9mm, .45 ACP and .38 Special. Bought them in the 1980s when the hippie socialists were waxing apoplectic and just never fired them.

I understand that one can get $50 per cartridge on eBay.

You're missing the critical point, amigo.
One does not own Black Talon ammunition because it's effective, one has it to make hippie socialists stroke out.

Second best thing to taunt a hippie socialist, is, of course, a rifle with that foldy-up thingy.

Anything these days have petals similar to black talon? And is there a way to pick up a box of black talon at an actually reasonable price? Always wanted to get my hands on a box, just to have on my ammo shelf. I figure it'd be a nice easter egg for those in the know.

Winchester Ranger SXT is pretty much the same thing, just with a new name and no black coloration, to my understanding at least.

I was carrying the Ranger, but I swapped from a .40 to a 9mm, and carry HST in it now--it's what we carry at work, so trying to stay a wee bit consistant.

I had Black Talon ammo for both my 9mm and 45acp. Gimmick ammo, only effective on Liberals and Idiots alike!

Several years ago, I had a handgun stolen, loaded with Black Talons. Police caught the guy and gave the gun back to me after his trial. I went to the police station, picked up my gun. Opened the evidence bag and it was all there except the magazine was empty.........Damn those JBT's

I remember way back in the 80's () and gunsmith friend worked at LGS, he told about all the hype and they'd be off the market soon, he basically said "get while the gettin's good"
