Actually there are a lot of Remington Rands here in the Philippines, WWII models, but they sell for pretty cheap - around 20-35,000 pesos ($700) and most are in good condition...
Here's one for sale in another forum here in the Philippines...
I was just shocked that the Remington he posted looked so good, the chroming looks spot on!

Madaming Remington Rand na binenta dito, mga Vietnam issue surplus back in the 90's and it's not that uncommon unlike the singers and the US&S 1911's.

Too bad we can't import the ones in the Philippines.

doc Bob: how much heinie rear and front sight set ni boy T? ang ganda ng pagkakagawa.
gumawawa ba si boy ng heinie style rear pero ang dovetail para sa bomar cut na slide?
meron kasi akong binabalak na .40 cal single stack project naka bomar cut yung slide. gusto ko fixed ang rear sights e.
