Unfortunately I have not attended Lodge in sometime. I've kept my dues current in both Blue Lodge and Scottish Rite, but just haven't found the time or energy to attend. Maybe 2015 will be better. Take care Brother.

My Lodge has a seeming secretary and Treasurer "for life" ...which is fine with me.They are dedicated and do a great job.
With those two exceptions, I have sat in all of the others.
Best of luck and enjoy your new Office !!

Thanks.

Our secretary has been there for years and is great. The treasurer was there for ten years. I figure I will be there for quite a while also.

First row in the southwest right next to the door so I can get out fast.

Did JD several years ago. That was more than enough for me.

What exactly is that? We don't use that title. I am guessing it is what we call Deputy Lecturer. Makes sure everything is preformed correctly.

I have not sat in a chair since I moved to KC 9 yrs ago. Prior to that, I had been through all the chairs except Secretary and Treasurer and was elected to the East five times in three different Lodges. Taking a rotating shift job, I could no longer commit to regular meetings. I do miss the Brothers back in Sterling and Lyons, KS. I plan to start through the chairs again when I retire. Anyway, congratulations and good luck on your new office Brother. I'm sure they elected the right man.

Thanks

Here deputy lecturer is nominated by the WM but final selection comes from the Grand Lecturer.

We do Some things slightly different just because we are such a small jurisdiction.

I have been away from Glock Talk for a while and was just checking if the Lodge here still existed.

I will be at the Secretary's desk for my fifth year.
