IDPA and IPSC matches for March

I would like to know when these matches are and where. Me and a friend are planning to attend but it takes us some time to get everything in order. If someone could send me a schedule of shoots this would be great.

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info Haras we will be checking these shoots out and joining the IDPA and the IPSC. Where do you shoot at? We have only been shooting alot since November and we shoot at Whitetail Ridge in Saltillo. This is a nice range but does not hold any competition shoots. The man that runs it said he would help to put on a shoot.

I am assuming those are the closest IPSC clubs Haras?

The closest IDPA match is 3rd Sunday of most months at 1pm in Stark Vegas, several come from Tupelo including the owner of Tupelo Custom Weaponry (I think that's the name of it).

Haras shoots in Byram, MS. We had a match today actually (I live in Columbus, trying to make it a habit to shoot in Byram).

I am going to look into the range in Glen also. Didn't know about it till now .

I shoot IPSC and ICORE in Jackson (Byram actually). Jackson is also the club that puts on the state IPSC championship each year. More here http://teammagnolia.com/

Saturday shoots anywhere

Are there any Saturday shoots? The Sunday morning shoots are hard to make with church. The 1oclock shoots may be O.K. depending on what time you have to be there for registration. To be able to shoot what is required?

Ahh... See, you need to come shoot the ICORE match Saturday March 31 in Byram. First match is free and we allow "New" shooters to shoot semi autos for 2 matches. We shoot Saturdays on odd number months.

ICORE matches

What is the difference in all these different clubs? I looked up IDPA and have talked to some people who are members but have not talked to anyone about IPSC or ICORE so I do not know anything about these.

You could make the Starkville IDPA shoot, being late isn't a biggy methinks.

IPSC is some fun stuff, I am looking forward to the next match (first one this past Sunday)!

I am not sure if I am going to the IPSC classifier Sat (or is it Sunday?) as I have to go down to the coast Sunday evening with work and gotta get stuff done here in town. If it's Sunday I figure I could swing by and knock it out.

ICORE looks fun, I hope I have the time to get into it. FWIW Haras beat me this Sunday with a revolver to my G17. Good job fellas!

Lay off the extra shots and you might have a chance.

EXTRA? I am just thoroughal. Plus everyone knows (or should) that carboard zombies require at LEAST 4 headshots to neutralize them.

If you take a looky I came in 5th for my class (20th overall), not terrible considering it's my first IPSC match, third competitive shooting match.

Yesterday at my range I figured out a flaw in my grip, hoping to make a better showing at the next match .
